Thank you so much for inquiring on our mini sessions! Mini Sessions are marathon events I typically put on 3 - 4 times per year, usually Easter and Christmas, as well as a couple special stylized sessions throughout the the year. Mini sessions are easily one of my favourites, as they give me a chance to put together something special and creative, while being able to offer highly stylized, themed sessions to my clients at a discounted price.
All mini sessions are 20-30 minutes long, and are followed by a quick ordering session, where we go through the shots from your session, allowing you to choose which photos you would like edited and included in your product order. Mini session collections are available, offering a discounted price on products well suited to your photos. My goal, along with documenting your children's unique personality, is to ensure that you are able to proudly display and appreciate your photos in your home when the session is complete.

GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MINI SESSION
WHAT TO BRING
Please feel free to bring one small toy that you wouldn't mind having in the photos to help make your little one feel more at home. Snacks (not sticky or messy) and a drink is also a good idea. Please do not bring iPads, or anything else that might be distracting to your child.

Anything summery! Lots of bug spray.
WHAT TO EXPECT
I will have several props ready to go at the set, which we will use based on which your child is most interested in. If your child doesn't cooperate right away, please do not worry! We have half an hour to get our images, which is plenty even for little ones who don't want to sit still.
I try to stay as positive as possible to keep kids focused and happy. It takes very little to push a toddler past the point of no return, so please try to stay positive and avoid threats of punishment even if your kid is driving you crazy. Please also talk to your child about the session before hand, and let them know that it will be a fun experience *insert bribes you plan to use here*.
For sessions taking place at the studio, please be aware that I do have a large black dog. He is very friendly, but can be a little overwhelming for some kids, especially if they're not used to dogs. His name is Jack, and loves attention. If your child is afraid of dogs, feel free to come get me and I can keep him restrained until your child is in the studio.
RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES
For outdoor mini sessions, ordering sessions take place a day or two after the session. The photos you will see at your order consultation are proofs, and are unedited. Turn around times for edited images are one week after your consultation. All digital files will be emailed via a website called wetransfer.com, which allows you to download your photos to your computer, or to your phone using the wetransfer app. Any product purchased will be available for pick up within one month of the session.
