Heirloominfo

Thank you so much for contacting Wild at Heart Photography about your child's portraits. Heirloom sessions are unique in that they focus on just your child, without the distractions and often hectic energy that comes with a family session. I approach heirloom sessions the same way that I do when I take my own kids out one on one; they lead, and I follow. The result is intimate, emotional, and allows your child's unique personality to shine through in photos that are each wall worthy works of art for your family to appreciate and share for generations.
WHY BOOK AN HEIRLOOM SESSION
Heirloom sessions are focused
PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION
Each of my milestone session starts with an pre-session consultation, where we plan the details of your shoot. It gives me an opportunity provide you with helpful advice to make the most of your session, as well as learn more about your child, your vision, and your plans to display your artwork. During the pre-session consultation we will discuss the location and poses for your shoot, the shots most important to you, pricing, and your options for product and digital files after the photos are edited. I can answer any questions you might have about planning your child's outfits, and preparing them for the session. My goal is to feel comfortable about the process, and your investment.
TURN AROUND
My turn around time for editing is one week after the session, at which point, you’ll be able to come into the studio to preview and purchase your photos. Any digital files purchased can be taken home that day on a USB, while prints and other products can be expected on your door step within 1-2 weeks after your purchase, ready to be displayed and admired.
ORDER CONSULTATION
After a week of anticipation, it's finally time to come in for your order consultation! My order consultations are designed to help guide you through your choices, to make the best decision for displaying your family’s artwork. I can also walk you through your options cake smash boards, and other adorable products designed specifically for milestone sessions. My goal as a photographer is to see the photos of your beautiful new baby displayed proudly on your walls, and kept safe in a keepsake album where they can be enjoyed throughout your child's life, as opposed to lost on a USB in a drawer somewhere. Don’t get me wrong, we all love digital files, but there is something to be said for being able to hold your finished product in your hand, and see it in your home every day.
WHEN TO BOOK
I typically take on up to 4 milestone sessions each month, so booking your spot at least a couple months ahead of time is important. Occasionally I have spots open for little ones upon short notice during the winter months, however, securing a cake for cake smashes may be especially difficult on short notice.
